China warned against a trade war after Donald Trump vowed to impose tariffs on Chinese goods due to fentanyl smuggling and other issues. Trump proposed a 10% tariff on all Chinese imports, in addition to other tariffs. China expressed openness to dialogue while denying involvement in the fentanyl trade and highlighting its efforts to curb it.
