BurgerFi in Latham, Saratoga Springs closing its doors after a decade
LATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- BurgerFi's locations in Latham and Saratoga Springs are permanently closing down. The last day of service will be December 1, with the doors closing for good at 9 p.m.
The franchise restaurant locations, owned by Bill, Michael, and Vincent Lia, had been open for a decade. The franchisees recently chose not to renew their franchise agreements following difficulties the national brand was facing.
BurgerFi International Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September. It was also recently taken off the NASDAQ.
The Lia family said it will explore new opportunities for the thousands of square feet of real estate these locations have to offer. They also said they would evaluate what could bring value to the community.
“We’re grateful to our loyal customers and dedicated team members who have supported
us over the years,” Bill Lia said. “Their patronage and hard work have been essential to our
journey. While we’re saying goodbye to BurgerFi, we look forward to exploring new
possibilities for these two great locations.”
Anyone with inquiries about leasing the Latham or Saratoga Springs properties can contact Tom Rento at (518) 788-6154 or trento@liarealtygroup.com.
