Trump border czar reacts to death threats: 'If you want some, come get some'

0

President-elect Donald Trump's incoming border czar, Tom Homan, responded to death threats by vowing to follow through with mass deportations.

In an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, Homan said that he might start taking death threats seriously after they were received by multiple Trump nominees Tuesday night.

"I've been dealing with this when I was the ICE director in the first administration," he said. "And what doesn't help is all the negative press around the president and people he's putting in his Cabinet."

"I'm not in the Cabinet, but you know, I've read numerous hit pieces on me," the proposed future border czar continued. "You know, I'm a racist and you know, I'm father of family separation, all this other stuff that, so, the hate media doesn't help at all because there are some nuts out there that take advantage."

He went on, "But I was of the attitude lately that if you want some, come get some because, you know, I've been through this many, many times."

Homan insisted that Trump's plan for mass deportations would not be stopped.

"I'm gonna do this job," he remarked. "I want to do this job because it's a — it's an issue of national security. So you're not gonna shut me up. I'm not going away."
