Report: Dockers defeated by winless Common

Newhaven’s poor form continued on Saturday afternoon as they lost for the fourth time in five league games.

Little Common hadn’t won a game in the league when they turned up at Fort Road, but Logan Copley’s 79th minute breakaway goal saw that change as the Commoners left with the three points.

The Dockers huffed and puffed, and were unfortunate to see a perfectly legitimate Alfie Rogers goal ruled out for offside after the visitors had taken the lead, but they never really deserved anything out of the game.
