Road closures for 2024 Troy Turkey Trot
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Troy will be hosting its 77th annual Turkey Trot on Thursday. The city announced the road closures that will be in place during the country's 12th oldest Thanksgiving Day "Trot."
The yearly event kicks off at the Troy Atrium, with multiple races being held between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. All closures and detours will be in place from 7 a.m. to noon in the downtown area, and free parking will be available in parking garages throughout downtown.
2024 Troy Turkey Trot road closures
- River Street from First Street on the South End to 112th Street North (re-opens at 9:30 a.m.) and 102 Street North (re-opening at noon)
- Streets in the immediate area of Monument Square
- The Green Island Bridge will be closed to traffic starting at 7:45 a.m.
