SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Schenectady County Restaurant Week will return from Monday, Feb. 24 to Sunday, March 2, according to Discover Schenectady. The week will feature restaurants around the county offering fixed-price menus.
Each participating business will be offering special menus featuring a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts for $30 or $40. Some businesses will be offering special lunch menus for $20.
"Schenectady County offers some of the best and most diverse dining in the Capital Region so whether you’re revisiting a favorite or trying something new, it’s the perfect way to celebrate and support our community," said Todd Garofano, executive director of Discover Schenectady.
Although the participating restaurants and menus have yet to be announced, Discover Schenectady said the upcoming holiday and shopping days are a great way to visit and purchase gift cards ahead of the week.
"Schenectady County Restaurant Week is the perfect time to support our local restaurants,
and this coming Black Friday and Small Business Saturday are great opportunities to
purchase gift cards to those amazing local eateries for family and friends," Garofano said.
The restaurant week is presented by the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation, Discover Schenectady and the Chamber of Schenectady County. Wolf Hollow Brewing Company and Mill Lane Distilling also support the week.
The full list of participating restaurants and menus will be announced on the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation's website. Sponsorships are also available by contacting Garofano through email, at todd@discoverschenectady.com.
