Terrifying moment driver tries to smash woman’s window with his bare hands in ‘road rage’ fury that left her cowering
THIS is the terrifying moment a driver tries to smash a woman’s car window with his bare hands as she cowers inside.
The road rage blow up was caught on camera as the man kicks her wing mirror and strikes the window with his palm like a karate chop.
The 25-year-old woman was driving in the fast lane near Hendon Central Station in northwest London on Sunday morning when the attack happened, the Daily Mail reports.
She refused to let a car into the lane in front of her with the driver of the motor then flashing his lights after he merged behind her.
When they stopped at a red light the driver, wearing sunglasses, a cap, and a leather jacket, was suddenly at her window.
The clip shows the man then palm heel punching the driver’s window, kick the wing mirror, and bludgeon it with his two hands held together.
The anonymous driver said she was in shock during the attack and pushed her body away from the glass as far as possible.
She said: “I was fearful of my life and safety.”
“I didn’t care about my car but I was scared that at any moment the glass was going to break and he was going to break my face.
“I felt threatened and helpless. Absolutely terrified to drive my car in the area now.”
She said the part of the attack she managed to film was only the end.
Afterwards, she drove straight to a police station to file a complaint while the man fled the scene.
It is not yet clear whether any charges have been laid against the man for the incident.
The attack is one of a number of recent road rage incidents which have been caught on camera.
One man was even caught this month climbing into a lorry to attack a driver.
The fuming motorist used his car as a roadblock before crawling in through the window to carry out his assault.
Another clip caught two drivers fighting in the middle of the road before one is nearly run over.
A Ford driver begins wildly throwing punches at the BMW owner while he’s in a headlock as the woman tries to drag him off.
