Men’s Tennis Releases 2025 Spring Schedule
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas men’s tennis head coach Jay Udwadia has announced the team’s 2025 spring schedule. The Razorbacks are slated to play 30 dual matches with 15 in Fayetteville at Billingsley Tennis Center.
The schedule features 17 matches against 2024 NCAA Tournament teams and the Hogs will face nine top-25 opponents featured in last season’s final ITA team rankings.
For the second straight season, Arkansas will open the spring on the road for two matches in Hawaii versus the Rainbow Warriors on Jan. 9 and Jan. 10. The Razorbacks return to Fayetteville to host Incarnate Word for their home opener on Jan. 17 before a doubleheader on Jan. 19 against Tulsa and Oral Roberts.
The squad will then travel to Austin, Texas, for ITA Kickoff Weekend hosted by the University of Texas. The Hogs will play Georgia Tech on Jan. 25 and either Texas or Rice on Jan. 26. The Razorbacks will host Nebraska on Jan. 31 to close out the month before another doubleheader versus Wichita State and Lamar on Feb. 2.
The team is scheduled to hit the road again for three contests in the Volunteer State against Memphis (Feb. 7), MTSU (Feb. 9) and Tennessee State (Jan. 9). If the Hogs advance past ITA Kickoff Weekend, the squad will compete in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships from Feb. 14-18.
The Razorbacks will host Ole Miss to open SEC play on Feb. 22 before traveling to Norman, Okla., to face one of the newest additions to the league in Oklahoma on Feb. 24. Arkansas then returns to Billingsley Tennis Center for a four-match homestand, beginning with a clash versus Texas A&M on Feb. 28 along with a doubleheader against Tennessee and Southern Miss on Mar. 2. The team will go head-to-head versus Alabama on Feb. 8 to close out the homestand.
The Hogs will go on the road the following weekend for a pair of matches against South Carolina (Mar. 13) and Florida (Mar. 15) prior to returning home to face Texas on Mar. 21 and Georgia on Mar. 23. The squad then travels to play at Mississippi State (Mar. 27) before a doubleheader versus Auburn and Alabama State (Mar. 29) to finish the month.
Arkansas concludes their home slate with a contest against LSU on Apr. 3 prior to three consecutive road matches to end the regular season. The Hogs will face Vanderbilt on Apr. 10 before a doubleheader versus Kentucky and Xavier on Apr. 12. South Carolina will host the 2025 SEC Tournament which is scheduled for Apr. 16-20.
The Razorbacks are coming off their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2021 and finished the season ranked No. 31, the highest year-end team ranking since 2016. The team recorded their most wins in a season since 1986 (21) and achieved a streak of five straight victories over ranked opponents, the longest streak since 1985.
