India will make its own bullet trains. These trains will run on new high-speed lines. Work on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train is speeding up. Land acquisition is finished. Over 320 kilometers of track is ready. India is developing its own automatic train protection system, Kavach 5.0. ICF will build a bullet train that can go 280 kmph.
