Beginning this Friday for a limited time at Krispy Kreme shops, fans can catch the first sleigh filled with Krispy Kreme’s new “Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection”.

Krispy Kreme have revealed their new Grinch Doughnut filled with cookies & Kreme flavoured filling, dipped in Grinch green icing with a chocolate icing smirky grin.

And the new Grinchy Claus Doughnut is an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolatey icing, topped with frosting and confetti dots.

Meanwhile the Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Doughnut is an Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in strawberry flavoured icing with a green tree and topped with a star piece.

And finally the Santa Belly Doughnut is a returning holiday favourite filled with Custard Kreme, dipped in red icing, piped with a black chocolatey Santa belt and topped with a sugar belt buckle.

All of the doughnuts are £3.25.

And the doughnut company are also offering an exclusive Black Friday offer from Friday 29th November to Sunday 1st December.

Any dozen doughnuts are available for £12, or any 2 dozen doughnuts for £20 in Krispy Kreme Retail shops or when ordering online.

That’s an unbelievable saving of more than 45 per cent.

Krispy Kreme’s Global Chief Brand Officer Dave Skena said: “Who wants to celebrate Christmas with Krispy Kreme?!

“Our Merry Grinchmas doughnuts are guaranteed to make even the Grinchiest Grinch smile.

“At Krispy Kreme, you’re sweet one, Mr. Grinch!”

It comes a mere few days after Krispy Kreme confirmed it has discontinued a classic doughnut – as shoppers ask “who’s eaten them all?”

The news came after a confused customer took to X to ask where the iconic flavour had gone.

The user joked: “Team, we must be late to the party but what’s happened to the original glazed jam doughnuts?

“Who’s eaten them all??”

A spokesperson for the doughnut giant replied to the post with the disappointing news that the product had been axed.

They said: “This doughnut has unfortunately been discontinued from our range, Angelina!

“Although, we’re sure you’ll be able to find a new favourite.”

But Angelina quipped that, unfortunately, the raspberry jam doughnut was the only one her husband liked.

She joked: “That puts an end to what could have been a wonderful relationship…”

In an official statement, another Krispy Kreme spokesperson elaborated on the decision to discontinue the iconic treat.

They said: “The decision to retire this traditional favourite for the time being was not taken lightly, but the good news is we’ve got a fresh new range of doughnuts and we’re confident that you’ll find a new favourite amongst them.”

How to save money on Christmas shopping

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save money on your Christmas shopping.

Limit the amount of presents – buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.

Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you’re not having to buy multiple presents.

Plan ahead – if you’ve got the stamina and budget, it’s worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.

Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you’re not forking out more than you should though.

Buy in Boxing Day sales – some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.

Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.

Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.

They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.
