India was re-elected to the UN Peacebuilding Commission for the 2025-2026 term. As a founding member and major contributor to UN Peacekeeping, India will continue its engagement to promote global peace and stability. The Peacebuilding Commission supports peace efforts in conflict-affected countries and fosters coordinated approaches to peacebuilding within the UN system.
