Winter Wonderland light show opens in Topeka
TOPEKA (KSNT) - TARC's Winter Wonderland is officially open at Lake Shawnee in Topeka for the holiday season.
Topekans and other locals can hop in their vehicles and head down to Lake Shawnee to enjoy TARC's holiday light display from Nov. 27 through to Dec. 31. The Winter Wonderland can be found at 3435 Southeast East Edge Road.
- Closed on Dec. 2, Dec. 9 and Dec. 16.
- Open Sunday to Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Open Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The Winter Wonderland is TARC's largest fundraiser of the year to help the organization continue with its mission to serve, support and advocate for children, families and adults with disabilities in the local area. People who choose to visit Winter Wonderland are encouraged to give donations of $10 per vehicle or $20 per large van/bus.
People can buy tickets in advance at TARC located at 2701 Southwest Randolph Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or at the gate of the event. More information can be found by calling 785-232-0597 or by clicking here.
