Pakistan Army kills four militants, including commander, in Khyber region

The Pakistani Army reported the killing of four militants, including one of their commanders, in the Khyber region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The army’s public relations office announced on Thursday, November 28, that these militants were killed during an operation in the “Bagh” area of Khyber.

The Pakistani Army identified the slain militant commander as “Bator.” The army also mentioned that three other militants were injured during the operation.

Meanwhile, security officials in Balochistan announced that one security officer was killed in a landmine explosion in the Turbat region of the province.

The escalation of violence in Pakistan has raised alarm, as attacks on military personnel and officials have been intensifying. In the first 20 days of November alone, 55 Pakistani officers were killed in various militant attacks, highlighting the growing threat to national security.

These increasing militant attacks, particularly in regions like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, have exacerbated tensions within Pakistan. The military’s ongoing operations against insurgents have faced fierce resistance, and the mounting casualties among Pakistani officers underscore the severity of the situation.
