One hospitalized, potential suspect detained after Thanksgiving stabbing

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- One person was hospitalized after a stabbing in Northwest Portland, authorities said.
According to Portland police, a man was stabbed on Northwest 19th Avenue, just off West Burnside Street late Thursday night.
Officials said the man was still conscious when officers arrived and he was taken to a nearby hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Numerous officers responded to search for a suspect, authorities said.
Although one potential suspect was arrested near Northwest 20th Place, no charges have been filed.
Authorities are still investigating and anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to contact Portland police.
