Molly Sims Looks Back On 'MTV Spring Break' Days, Says It Was a 'Different Time'
Molly Sims is reflecting on the time when she was on MTV Spring Break in the early 2000s.
The 51-year-old model and actress was on the show a couple times, even having hosted the Fashionably Loud special in 2001.
While speaking with People recently, Molly looked back at her time on the MTV show and how different of a time it was compared to today.

“Oh my God, being on MTV was crazy,” she said. “We used to do it down in Cancun, and it was nuts at the time. The crowds of people were so into it, and MTV was on top of the world. It was so much fun. Carson [Daly] was great, and all the co-hosts, the oldies but goodies, were a blast.”
“Looking back now, I think, ‘Oh my God, the live cameras are coming in,’ and you don’t even realize it because you’re just in the moment. It’s wild,” Molly added.
She also noted how it was a “different time” in the early 2000s.
“We could get away with a lot more,” she said. “There were no phones, and the documentation wasn’t like it is today. Back then, we were probably more connected. Now, it feels like everyone is more individual, focused on their phones.”
“I saw a picture of myself recently and thought, ‘What in the world?’ But it was a moment,” she added with a laugh. “If you look at my Instagram, there’s a post where I’m in a pink bikini with matching pink shorts. I’m like, if I could only fit into that again!”
