How to watch the 2024 Gotham Awards live
The 34th Annual Gotham Awards are set to take place Dec. 2, 2024 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. The Gotham Film & Media Institute will hand out nine movie awards along with special tributes to Angelina Jolie (Performer for “Maria”), Denis Villeneuve (Director for “Dune: Part Two”), Timothée Chalamet and James Mangold (Visionary for “A Complete Unknown”), Zendaya (Spotlight for “Challengers”), the cast of the film “The Piano Lesson” (Ensemble), Franklin Leonard and his company The Black List (Anniversary), and the cast of the film “Sing Sing” (Social Justice).

Gold Derby will have a live update of the 2024 Gotham Awards winners list, along with a red carpet photo gallery featuring Hollywood stars arriving to the event. Viewers with Apple TV, Fire TV, or Roku can also watch by downloading KVUE+ on their devices. The Austin-based news station will air the ceremony for free.
In addition to the tributes mentioned above, awards will be handed out for Best Feature, Best International Feature, Best Documentary Feature, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Breakthrough Director, Best Lead Performance, Best Supporting Performance, and Breakthrough Performer.
“Anora” led with four nominations, including Best Feature, Best Lead Performance for Mikey Madison, Best Supporting Performance for Yura Borisov, and Best Director for Sean Baker.
The other Best Feature nominees included “Babygirl” (which landed Nicole Kidman a nomination for Best Lead Performance), “Challengers,” “A Different Man” (which also received recognition for Adam Pearson in Best Supporting Performance), and “Nickel Boys” (which had two other nominations – Best Director for RaMell Ross and Breakthrough Performance for Brandon Wilson).
