More cold air pushes in for the start of the week
What We’re Tracking
- Cold wind on Monday
- Warming up by midweek
- Dry week ahead
Clear to partly cloudy weather for tonight as temperatures drop back into the lower 20s. However, a north breeze will pick up late in the night, dropping morning wind chills into the lower 10s for much of the area.
That north wind is a reinforcing push of cold air to start the week. Highs on Monday will struggle to climb above freezing, with most areas in the lower 30s. North wind at 15-25mph will make it feel like 10s and 20s throughout the day.
However, as we move into the rest of the workweek, temperatures will gradually warm back up. Potentially even above average with highs in the lower to middle 50s by Wednesday. Rain chances remain slim to none throughout the upcoming week. After that midweek warming, expect another cold front to cool it off for the tail end of the work week.
