West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari has threatened an indefinite export embargo on Bangladesh if attacks on minority Hindus do not stop. This threat follows a 24-hour trade suspension at Petrapole border. Adhikari demanded the release of an arrested Hindu monk and warned of further protests and prolonged embargo if the situation does not improve.
