Intel announced the retirement of CEO Pat Gelsinger, effective December 1. CFO David Zinsner and senior executive Michelle Johnston Holthaus will serve as interim co-CEOs while the board searches for a successor. Following the news, Intel's shares increased nearly 3% in premarket trading.
