YouTube Gold: Tatum vs. Mitchell
As the two stars have a solid duel Sunday night
Boston and Cleveland got together Sunday night and that basically meant a high-level duel between two of the premier NBA stars, Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell and Celtic Jayson Tatum.
Mitchell came out slightly better this time, scoring 35 points, pulling down seven rebounds and also recording three assists and two steals.
For his part, former Duke star Tatum had 33 points, eight rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block.
Cleveland won, narrowly, 115-111. With the win, Cleveland moves 1.5 games ahead of Boston, but Boston played without Jaylen Brown, who was ill, and Derrick White, who was out with a foot sprain.
It’s still early but at this point, it looks like both of these teams are going to be factors in the NBA playoffs
