Match Report
Earlier this week The Dock were extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Ex-Player and Manager – John Skillen. Prior to the game a minutes silence took place to remember honour John.
Minute Silence taking place with brothers Allan and Collin Skillen.
Following on from last week, The Dock managed to successfully progress to the Semi Finals of The Cheshire Sunday Cup with an emphatic 8-1 win over Cheshire & Manchester Sunday League side Romiley FC. This will be the clubs fifth time at the Semi Final Stage in the last 9 seasons.
Goals from Peter Morgan, Kieran Hamm and Adam Lea sees the race for Leading Goalscorer remain tied between the 3 on 8 goals a piece. Jamie Eaton added to those along with braces for Jack Kelly and Ryan Smith with Ryan scoring the pick of the bunch with a nice long-range effort.
The Dock have been drawn against fellow Birkenhead Premier Division side Bushell Athletic at home in The Semi Finals. The tie is due to take place on Sunday 2nd February 2025. The other semi final sees George & Dragon of Winsford host Beechwood Social Club.
