$3 million lottery ticket sold in Baldwin last week

BALDWIN, La. (KLFY) -- Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Baldwin last week is now a millionaire.
Louisiana Lottery officials have confirmed that a Mega Millions ticket purchased in Baldwin for the Nov. 26 drawing has won $3 million.
It was sold at One Stop Convenience on Main Street in Baldwin. The winner matched the five regular numbers and added the Megaplier. Officials said the prize was claimed Nov. 27.
This is a cash prize so it will be paid as a lump sum subject to federal and state withholdings, officials said. The winner had 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.
