Sunny and cool start to week, rain looms in forecast

Monday is off to a cold start with temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s along with a very light breeze. Wind chills have fallen into the low to mid 30s for much of the area. Sunny and comfortably cool weather is expected this afternoon with highs near 67°. That is the average temperature for early December. Overnight lows will return into the upper 30s by Tuesday morning.
Rain chances make a comeback on Wednesday as showers and storms could be widespread. An unsettled weather pattern may last through the weekend into next week.
