K-State soccer names new head coach
MANHATTAN (KSNT) - A new era is on the way for K-State women's soccer.
The Wildcats named Colleen Corbin as their new head coach, athletics director Gene Taylor announced Monday. She's just the second coach in the program's nine-year history, replacing Mike Dibbini, who stepped down in late October. Corbin agreed on a five-year contract.
The new Wildcat head coach was formerly the associate head coach at St. Louis University, where she helped the Billikens reach the second round of the NCAA tournament after an Atlantic 10 Conference tournament title and a 15-2-6 regular season.
Prior to her time at St. Louis, Corbin was at the University of Wyoming, where she was named 2022 Mountain West Coach of the Year after leading the Cowgirls to a conference co-championship.
Corbin will be officially introduced as K-State soccer's new head coach on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 11 a.m.
