These Limited-Edition Citizen Watches Are Deep Space Delights
Citizen’s technology-focused Attesa line has turned its attention to the deepest realms of outer space with the launch of the new Hakuto-R series, named after a lunar lander. Made up of three limited-edition watches crafted in collaboration with ispace, the watches are part of the global lunar resource development company’s lunar exploration program. Ispace specializes in designing and building lunar landers and rovers, aiming to “extend the sphere of human life into space and create a sustainable world by providing high-frequency, low-cost transportation services to the Moon,” says Citizen.

The middle links of the bracelets, meanwhile, are made of recrystallized titanium, a material with unique crystal patterns on the surface that make it so no two watches are the same. Each limited-edition piece features the Hakuto-R logo engraved on the case backs.
