Action was taken against four police officers and seven arrests were made after activists breached the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala. Three sub-inspectors were suspended and a DSP was 'closed' for negligence. Security was tightened, and CRPF and TSR personnel were deployed following the incident during a protest by Hindu Sangharsh Samity.
