Abbeville man arrested in connection to drive-by-shooting

ABBEVILLE, La. (KLFY) - An Abbeville man was charged with Assault by Drive-by-Shooting after two people were hurt in an incident on November 19th.
The incident too place on LA Highway 695. Authorities say the suspect Frederick Washington, 52, shot several rounds from the highway into a home injuring the two people.
Officials say the suspect was located on Hathorne Street in Abbeville after the shooting. He was arrested with assistance from the Vermilion Parish SWAT Team and Abbeville Police. He's being held in the Vermilion Parish Correction Center on a $100,000 bond.
