Consular services at the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala are suspended for security reasons. This follows a breach by protestors against the arrest of a Hindu monk in Bangladesh. Seven people were arrested, and action was taken against four policemen. India termed the incident as deeply regrettable and has increased security at Bangladeshi missions.
