Severe delays on two major Underground lines after works overrun
The morning commute isn’t getting off to the best start for Londoners as three busy Tube lines are facing severe delays or suspension.
The Jubilee and Metropolitan lines on the London Underground are both seeing severe delays caused by overrunning engineering work at Dolls Hill.
However this is only impacting the southbound Jubilee line, with a good service running northbound.
Elsewhere the Piccadilly line is partly closed between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge again, after being suspended throughout the day yesterday.
This is due to ‘poor rail conditions caused by significant leaf fall’.
