A SKY drama has been given the green light major for the second series after being branded ‘10/10’ by fans.
Sweetpea is a British dark comedy-drama television miniseries created by Kirstie Swain for Sky Atlantic.
Series two has been commissioned and will see the return of Rhiannon Lewis, whose secret killer streak reaches a new peak.
Ella Prunnell, who plays Rhiannon in Sweetpea, said: “Being part of Rhiannon’s coming-of-rage journey has been a career highlight for me, and to see fans engage with and relate to our oddball Rhiannon, in all her complexity, feels truly special.

The first series introduces the unassuming newspaper office receptionist; no one would guess she could be capable of murder.
She is a wallflower continually overlooked for a promotion at work, with a love interest who won’t commit, and a poorly father.
To add to her woes, we see flashbacks of when she was bullied at school and coped by pulling out her hair and having to wear a wig, which gave further fuel to the bullies.
But when her school bully returns, her life is turned upside down.
Rhiannon is suddenly pushed over the edge and begins to shed her wallflower identity, replacing it with a killer instinct.
Viewers have been on tenterhooks to find out what is in store next.
The drama has been a hit with viewers since it premiered on 10 October 2024 on Sky Atlantic.
It is based on an adaptation of the book of the same name by CJ Skuse.
The first series starred Nicôle Lecky (Mood, Sense8) as Julia, Jon Pointing (Big Boys, Smothered) as Craig, Calam Lynch (Bridgerton) as AJ, Leah Harvey (Foundation) as Marina.
Jeremy Swift (Ted Lasso) plays Norman and Dustin Demri-Burns (Slow Horses) is Jeff.
