Stowaway removed from flight again during second attempted return to NYC: sources
NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) -- A stowaway who bypassed security to get on a flight from New York City to Paris last week was again removed from her return flight after causing another disturbance, law enforcement sources told PIX11 News on Tuesday.
It was the second attempt to bring the woman back to the United States a week after she allegedly boarded a Paris-bound Delta flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport without a ticket.
Last week's incident drew attention on social media after the flight took off from JFK with the stowaway on board. In a video shared with PIX11 News, the flight's captain announced that police were on their way.
A spokesperson for the TSA said the passenger had been physically screened and did not have any prohibited items. The TSA will independently review the incident.
