India's rooftop solar installations are surging under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSGMBY). Over 6.3 lakh installations have been completed in nine months, compared to 8.1 lakh over the preceding decade. Streamlined processes, robust IT systems, and expanded vendor base are driving the scheme's success towards its one crore target by FY27.
