Several infants in Spain developed "werewolf syndrome," a condition causing excessive hair growth, due to environmental exposure to minoxidil, a hair-loss treatment. Eleven cases were linked to caregivers using minoxidil-based products, and symptoms subsided upon discontinuation. While rare, this highlights the importance of proper handling of such medications around infants.
