Here’s How Patriots Fans Reacted Online To New Facility Reveal

You can’t please everyone.

The New England Patriots learned that lesson Wednesday after the organization announced it was beginning construction on a new football training facility. The stand-alone facility is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2026.

“The three-level structure will more than double the square footage of the team’s current footprint located inside Gillette Stadium,” according to a team release.

It will feature a nutrition center at the entrance, an enlarged player lounge and an expanded weight room that will open to three redesigned practice fields.

Sounds goods, right?

Well, not to all fans who have cheered for the 3-10 Patriots this season.

“Can we start constructing a new o line and coaching staff?” @ItsCulby wrote on X.

“I hope an entire wing is devoted to ‘How To Avoid Penalties,'” @VNudnik wrote on X.

“Spend money on the roster for once why dont ya,” @TheChowdaCrowd wrote on X.

“Lighthouse. Now a gym. How about spending money on the roster,” @Eddie78364445 wrote on X.

That’s not to say all Patriots fans took shots at the franchise. Others pointed out how New England’s facilities were blasted in an embarrassing NFL Players Association survey and questioned whether the new addition could attract players.
