Tottenham receive good news amidst interest in Antoine Semenyo
Antoine Semenyo, who has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, will be allowed to leave Bournemouth next summer for the right fee.
Tottenham eyeing another Bournemouth raid
Tottenham spent a club-record fee to sign Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth back in the summer and the North London club are now thought to be keen on raiding Cherries again for one of their best players.
The player on their radar this time is Antoine Semenyo, who has been one of the most exciting wingers on show in the Premier League so far this season.
A number of outlets have suggested over recent weeks that Ange Postecoglou‘s men are eyeing a January move for the Ghana international but they are expected to face competition from Newcastle United, who are also keen on the player.
Bournemouth’s stance on Antoine Semenyo revealed
Football Insider have now revealed that Bournemouth are aware of the growing interest in Antoine Semenyo‘s services and will entertain offers for him.
It is alleged that the South Coast club do not intend to stand in the 24-year-old’s way if he asks to leave in search of European football.
However, it is revealed that a January deal is unlikely as Andoni Iraolo’s men are wary of weakening their squad in the middle of the season.
Liverpool also keen on Semenyo
Further, Football Insider claim that Liverpool have also entered the race for Semenyo’s signature as they look to bolster their options out wide.
It is explained that the Reds are aware that they could lose Mohamed Salah when his contract runs out at the end of this season, with Saudi Pro League clubs circling over their star man.
Should the Egyptian depart Anfield, Arne Slot’s men have allegedly identified the Bournemouth man as a potential replacement, but the Merseyside club are not expected to spend big on Semenyo in January.
