Brits in College Men | November recap
The NCAA season is finally underway and a month into the regular season, it’s the perfect time to check in on how the Brits started the year.
NCAA Division 1
Josh Uduje dropped a season-high 25 points for San Jose State, going 5/5 from beyond the arc, unfortunately it was not enough to avoid a tough loss at the hands of USC. The senior is averaging 15.5 points across his first eight games for the Spartans.
Meanwhile, Latrell Davis dropped two double figures games including a season-high 12 points for the Spartans.
Sam Alajiki is having a great start with the Golden Eagles, across seven games, the senior is averaging 13.7 points. He dropped a season-high 28 points performance in a loss against the Bruins.
Louie Jordan’s best performance in the opening month was a 22 points outing, going 6/8 from beyond the arc.Tomiwa Sulaiman’s best game came in his second outing of the season, he dropped 20 points in a blowout victory, going 6/7 from behind the arc.
Great Osobor started the season with a dominant 15 points, 17 rebounds double-double performance, before dropping his season-high in another huge performance with 23 points and 18 rebounds in a win over River Hawks. Tobi Lawal registered his season-high 23 points in his first game as a Hokie. He also tallied 10 points and 10 rebounds double-double in his third game.
Amari Williams is having a perfect undefeated start with Kentucky. The 3-time CAA Defensive player of the year started his season with two consecutive double-double performances with his best performance coming on the second game as he tallied 13 points and 14 rebounds as Kentucky remain unbeaten after six games.
Giovanni Emejuru, hit a season-high 21 points in a recent outing, as the junior is also averaging 14.3 points in his last 3 games.
Ndewedo Newbury just posted his season-high with a 21-point haul coming in a win over Fordham. Ben Brown started off the year emphatically with Dartmouth, as he posted a season-high 17 points in a 129-47 win.
Furthermore, Chudi Dioramma started his season with a 12 points performance off the bench with Sacramento State Hornets, while Clem Edomwonyin is having a limited role off the bench for Drexel, averaging under five minutes a game.
Michael Folarin registered six rebounds and three blocks in his first outing of the season but is averaging 8.8 minutes per game as his team remain unbeaten.
Cameron Hildreth‘s senior year started off well, with two 18 points performances while averaging 11 points across seven games.
Ethan Price posted three consecutive double figure games to start his senior year with each games resulting in victories. His season-high 16 points came in the first game, a performance he matched later against Fresno State.
Moreover, Josh Ijeh recorded two double figures games, including a 10 points, six rebounds and 5 steals performance.
Freshman Manie Joses only stepped on the court for 19 minutes in a three games span, whereas Phillip Kavu hasn’t made his debut yet for Davidson.
Matt Marsh, is settling in as a Beaver, his role is off the bench and hit a season-high 8 points. Luke McEldon only participated in three games with minimal play time so far. Ben Michaels is averaging 10.5 points across six games, his season best 14 points came in a loss at the hands of Notre Dame. Additionally, Tim Oboh hit a season-high eight points coming off a loss against Vermount.
Wesley Oba had his best game of the season against High Point, the Senior posted six points and six rebounds. Elsewhere, Josh Ogundele had a perfect night with Tennessee State, he posted a season-high 11 points going 5/5 from the field. James Okonkwo posted a season best 10 points in a win over Wesleyan.
Elsewhere, Joel Armotrading is settling down well at UC Riverside, he had two games in double figures with an average of 6.4 points across seven games.
Luke Bamgboye recorded four blocks in his last outing with VCU in a win against Miami, while Michael Belle hit a season-high six points.
Vasja Pandza started his season with the Redhawks with two consecutive nine points games, unfortunately both games ended in losses.
Rory Stewart‘s best performance came in loss at the hands of Northeastern as he recorded 13 points and eight rebounds. Eduardo Andre is having a good start with West Virginia, holding a 4-1 record, he recorded a season-high nine points in their only loss. Sultan Adewale is averaging 5.4 points in 13.7 minutes for the Great Danes after he transferred from Iona for sophomore season.
NCAA Division 2
Louis Grante-Hallidaydropped two 23-point games, and only failed to score over 10 points twice across seven games. He is averaging 14.4 points per games so far. Finley Woodward started the season in a new starter role with West Liberty. The junior started the year with a near triple-double performance (14 pts, 10 rebs and 8 assists), then dropped his season-high with a double-double 20 points and 10 rebounds. He is averaging 15.7 points per games. Myles Hosten finished the month in great fashion as he equaled his best outing in his freshman year with 19 points. Sean Trumper‘s best performance of the month came in his second outing as he scored 16 points against VCU.
Yves Nkomba had two double figures games in the month including a season-high 12 points against Fort Lewis, while Nathan Jones had his best game so far in his first game of the season as a starter with 12 points. Pedro Ellery had two double figures games in November with his best performance coming in the first game of the season with a 12 points outing. Franklin Agu‘s best game came off the bench as he posted 12 points against Lubbock Christian.
JUCO
Louie Tucker started the year well with McCook, he dropped a 22-point double-double with 10 rebounds against Laramie County. Lane Campbell had a great start, with three consecutive games with double figures, including a 20-point outing.
Meanwhile, Sebastian Muchitsch posted 16 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Hutchinson Community College.
Moreover, Tyrese Lacey is dropping dimes with Daytona state. The Hoopsfix All-Star Classic MVP posted 12 points and 14 assists in a win over Gulf Coast State.
Eben Effah posted a 15 points and 11 rebounds double-double performance against Kilgore College in his first game. Andre Anderson is averaging 12.2 points per games so far across six games with Harper College. With only double figures games, his best performance was a 12-point, 10 assist double-double.
