QVC recalls 1.1 million oven gloves after more than 90 burn injury reports

(NEXSTAR) – QVC is recalling about 1.1 million pairs of oven gloves after dozens of people were burned while using them, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced.

The Temp-tation Oven Gloves were sold on QVC's television shows, website, and digital shopping platforms between August 2018 and August 2024.

According to Thursday's recall notice, QVC has received 162 reports of the gloves failing to protect against heat, including 92 cases where people sustained minor burns.

The gloves were available in a variety of colors, like blue, yellow, red, and floral designs. They were sold individually, in two-piece sets, and bundled with other kitchen products, with prices ranging from about $4 to $13 per pair and $14 to $26 per set.

The affected model numbers include: K51459, K76398, K47973, K48879, K85322, K96004, K92603, K308719, K309220, K309388 and K309516.

Customers are urged to stop using the gloves immediately and contact QVC for a refund.
