Vodafone Group is selling its remaining 3% stake in Indus Towers for approximately Rs 2,801.7 crore. The proceeds will be used to repay debt and invest up to Rs 2,000 crore in its struggling Indian joint venture, Vodafone Idea, through a preferential share issue. Vodafone Idea's board will meet on December 9th to discuss the fundraising proposal.
