Festival of Trees shines in Topeka in final week before auction
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Time is limited for people to still see one of Topeka's favorite Christmas setups.
SLI's Festival of Trees wraps up on Saturday, Dec. 7. All of the trees are crafted by local people and are available for people to bid for online. Judges will also choose a handful of special trees and wreaths that people can claim at Friday's Soiree which features a live auction.
"It's like our party within Festival of Trees," said Director of Special Events Shannon Warta. "We have food, drinks, DJ, and then we have a special live auction that night as well which features about six of our trees and wreaths within that auction."
The Soiree is Friday, Dec. 6 from 6-9 p.m. For more information on the Festival, click here. To purchase tickets for the Soiree, click here.
