Social media roasts Yashasvi Jaiswal for getting dismissed for golden duck in Adelaide Test
India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal wasn’t really able to spend much time on the crease like he did in the second innings of Perth Test as he was dismissed for a golden duck by pacer Mitchell Starc in Adelaide.
This is the first time that Jaiswal suffered a golden duck in Test cricket and he also became only 7th Indian opening batter to be dismissed for a golden duck in the longest format of the game.
On the other hand, Starc joined former West Indian pacer Pedro Collins as only the second bowler to get a wicket on the very first ball of the match on 3 occasions.
With Jaiswal’s dismissal, Starc also completed his revenge over the India batter, who had mocked him in the previous Test by saying that the pacer was bowling too slow.
Following th dismissal, Jaiswal started getting trolled on social media as the fans reminded him to always stay humble as it doesn’t take time for fortunes to change in the game of cricket.
