Amber Heard is expanding her family with baby #2 and her exciting announcement offered a rare look into her personal life despite her efforts to keep her dating life out of the public eye in the years since her split from ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Representatives for the actress revealed the news to People on Dec. 5, saying, “It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage. Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.”

Does Amber Heard Have a Partner?

Amber Heard is reportedly single. Representatives for the actress did not mention a partner in her pregnancy announcement.

Heard has been open about choosing to become a single parent in the past, revealing in a July 2021 Instagram post that she decided she “wanted to have a child” four years prior and “wanted to do it on my own terms.”

“I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she wrote at the time, while announcing the birth of her daughter. “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”

Later that month, she described herself as “the mom and the dad” to her young daughter.

Heard last known relationship was with cinematographer Bianca Butti. The pair were romantically linked after they were spotted kissing in Palm Springs in January 2020. The duo were seen together numerous times that year but reportedly split in 2021. The following year, Butti showed her support for Heard amid her high-profile legal battle with Depp over an essay she wrote in The Washington Post describing herself as a survivor of abuse.

“Amber is someone I am grateful to call a friend and no one, who stands up to speak the truth should be treated like this,” Butti wrote on Instagram. “My heart goes out to her durning these difficult times. No matter what happens #istandwithamberheard.”

Prior to Butti, Heard was married to Depp from 2015 until 2016 when Heard filed for divorce and accused Depp of physically abusing her during their relationship. Heard later dated Elon Musk for a year, beginning in 2016.
