Varanasi is launching a special Pulse Polio campaign on December 8, aiming to vaccinate 568,511 children under five. The campaign is crucial due to rising polio cases in neighboring countries and Varanasi's high traffic as a pilgrimage site. Over 1,800 booths will be set up, and mobile teams will conduct door-to-door vaccinations to ensure 100% coverage.
