Over the past five years, more than 2,200 companies, including 39 listed entities, moved their registered offices out of West Bengal, according to junior corporate affairs minister Harsh Malhotra. In response, the Trinamool Congress criticized BJP MP Samik Bhattacharya's questions in Parliament as "biased" and "anti-Bengal."
