As of this writing, Gold Derby has Kidman making it in both respective categories for her lead performances according to our combined predictions, thanks to the benefit of all having six slots. Her more assured bet is in Best Film Drama Actress, where she marks second with 4/1 odds for “Babygirl,” with 20 experts, 10 editors, and 23 top 24 users supporting her. It is additionally the category where Kidman has been recognized the most with seven previous movies. The only contender ahead is Angelina Jolie (“Maria”) at 18/5 odds, with Marianne Jean-Baptiste (“Hard Truths”) at 11/2, Saoirse Ronan (“The Outrun”) at 13/2, Tilda Swinton (“The Room Next Door”) at 10/1, and Fernanda Torres (“I’m Still Here”) at 12/1 complete the top six.
Best Limited/Television Movie Actress is a bit more shaky for Kidman with “The Perfect Couple,” but she is projected to just make the cut as she ranks sixth with 21/2 odds behind Emmy winner Jodie Foster (“True Detective: Night Country”) at 18/5, Cate Blanchett (“Disclaimer”) at 9/2, Cristin Milioti (“The Penguin”) at 5/1, Sofia Vergara (“Griselda”) at 6/1, and Naomi Watts (“Feud: Capote vs. the Swans) at 7/1 in descending order.
