I’m the luckiest man as I have FIVE wives – but Christmas costs me £31K, we draw up a schedule for festive family visits
A MAN who has five wives says he will be spending £31,000 on gifts for them this Christmas.
Arthur O Urso, who previously had nine brides, revealed that he has to prepare months in advance for his unique Christmas Day.
The 37-year-old is legally married to Luana Kazaki, 27, but also has five other partners, who he refers to as his “wives.”
These women are Emelly Souza, 22, Valquíria Santos, 24, Damiana, 25, and Carla Santos, 28.
The group share everything equally, even enjoying a sex schedule to keep things fair in their gold bed.
Having this many partners can be costly though, as Arthur has realised.
“Each one [of my wives] can choose a gift, as long as it doesn’t exceed a set amount to ensure fairness for everyone,” he told NeedToKnow.
“The gifts range from jewellery to tech gadgets and even experiences like short trips.
“The goal is for each of them to feel special and valued.”
Arthur revealed that “with five wives, organising Christmas isn’t easy.”
“I start planning at least three months in advance, including choosing the gifts, planning the dinner, and coordinating family visits,” he said.
“This ensures that [during] Christmas, everyone is happy.”
In terms of family visits, the group use an annual “rotation system.”
“Each year, one of my wives’ families is chosen to spend the day with all of us,” Arthur explained.
“It is a big celebration with lots of food, music, and togetherness at our mansion of free love.
“We are also preparing a special dinner with traditional dishes to make the moment even more unforgettable.”
Arthur has also invited his own parents round for Christmas dinner.
What is polyamory?
Polyamory is the practice of having romantic relationships with more than one person at the same time, with the knowledge and consent of all parties.
It can refer to relationships where one person has multiple partners or spouses, or where all parties are in a relationship with each other, for example in a throuple.
According to You Gov, 6.8% of people in the UK have been in a polyamorous relationship.
“I have invited my parents and relatives for Christmas but I know that, due to distance and other commitments, not everyone will be able to come,” he said.
“They are always welcome and know how much I value these moments with my wives.
“Despite some differences, I have a respectful relationship with them, and they understand and accept my lifestyle.”
He added that his family is “very Catholic” and explained: “This lifestyle completely deviates from what they expected for me.”
“When we meet, we avoid discussing certain topics that might cause discomfort, and that includes Christmas,” he said.
“I prefer to keep things light and respect their boundaries, but I always make a point of reinforcing that the most important thing is for us to be happy and united.”
Despite potential tension, Arthur is looking forward to the festivities.
“The party will be big and the house will be full,” he said.
“We have plenty of love and the night will be washed down with a delicious supper.”
