The Office for National Statistics announced that “Mohammad” has been among the top 10 most popular names for baby boys in the UK since 2016. However, it has now surpassed the name “Noah” to take the top spot for the most popular baby boy name.
According to the office, currently, “Mohammad” holds the first position, “Noah” is in second place, and “Oliver” is in third place on the list of most popular baby boy names in the UK.
Based on the report from the UK Office for National Statistics, the name Mohammad has consistently been in the top 100 names in the UK for several years. However, this year, it has secured the top position.
For baby girl names, the top three positions have remained unchanged since 2022, with Olivia, Amelia, and Isla maintaining their spots.
