KERRY Katona is turning heartbreak into cash, raking in six figure sums with huge deals after splitting from her fiance Ryan Mahoney.
Despite her recent personal challenges, ex Atomic Kitten Kerry, 44, is taking charge of her future, shifting her focus entirely on her career and children.
The ever-busy reality TV star is currently starring alongside her fellow I’m a Celeb jungle buddy Katie Price in Cinderella at Northwich Memorial Court.
And, with her star power shining brightly, she’s been snapped up for tonnes more jobs in the New Year.
A source told The Sun: “Kerry has turned a corner after her heartbreak and has decided next year is all about work and making her children fully financially secure for the future.
“She is in talks for many work projects and has already signed off three in the last week.
“She’ll make six figures, easily. She has used the pain and the heartbreak as power and is ready to concentrate on her career and to make a better future for herself and her children.”
Kerry, who is mum to Molly, 23, Lilly-Sue, 21, Heidi, 17, Max, 15, and nine-year-old DJ from previous relationships, announced her split with Ryan last month over a ‘breach of trust’.
Writing in her OK! column, she said: “Last week I spoke about how Ryan and I were having a tough time and now he has moved out of the house.
“We are no longer together and It’s been a really tough week – I never in a million years thought this would happen. Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us.
“I don’t know if we’ll be able to work it out or not, but I do still love him so much.
“I feel like everything has heaped on recently and it’s so much to deal with, I am really struggling.
“But I know I can get through it no matter what happens, I’ve been through break-ups before and come out the other side, so we just need to see what happens.”
The singer later told how she spent a day in therapy with This Morning stars Nik and Eva Speakman after her separation.
Speaking from the comfort of her bed, Kerry told her Instagram followers: “This is how tired you look after having a day with the Speakmans.
“But so worth it! I feel so validated… not validated, just thy are so insightful.
“Anybody who is seeking any form of therapy, whether it’s a phobia or anything…
“I am drained! But I feel like I love myself and I am exhausted!”
Kerry and Ryan start dating in 2018.
They got engaged in 2020.
