Gymback Preview Set for Dec. 15

For one night only, the 2024-25 Gymbacks will return to Barnhill Arena as the team is set for its annual Gymback Preview intrasquad on Dec. 15.

The event will provide fans the opportunity to see this season’s squad for the first time, and for the only time at Barnhill as all home meets in 2025 will be held at Bud Walton Arena.

This year’s event will take on a new format, featuring two groups, Cardinal and White. The two groups will alternate between events in Olympic order, starting on vault and beam, and will receive scores based on a star system. The team with the most stars at the conclusion of the meet wins.

As always, the Gymback Preview will be free and open to the public. Doors open at 3 p.m. and action begins at 4 p.m. Free parking will be available in all lots surrounding Barnhill.

The team will host their annual Toy Drive, and fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit children in the Northwest Arkansas community.

There will be a poster giveaway along with meet and greet opportunities with the gymnasts following the competition.

The Gymback Preview will not be streamed, but clips will be shared on social media throughout the day.
