Portland Holiday Brew Fest, 'Love Actually' In Concert among weekend events
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Say goodbye to the first full week of December with these events aiming to get you in the holiday spirit.
From seasonal brews to Oregon Symphony performances, there's something for everyone.
“Gone Girl”
When: Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Hollywood Theatre, 4122 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97212
Hollywood Theatre is marking the 10th anniversary of “Gone Girl” with a screening of the Golden-Globe-nominated film. The thriller starring Ben Affleck and Rosemund Pike follows the story of a woman whose husband is the prime suspect in her reported disappearance.
Kevin Nealon
When: Friday, Dec. 6 at 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7 at 8:30 p.m.

Kevin Nealon, seen in shows like “Weeds” and “Saturday Night Live,” has already sold out two of his upcoming shows at the Helium Comedy Club. According to event organizers, the comedian and actor “hits the stage like your favorite uncle telling a story at Thanksgiving: casual, relatable, and with the perfect amount of dry wit and deadpan humor.”
Portland Holiday Brew Fest
When: Friday, Dec. 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Local brands like Deschutes Brewery, Migration Brewing and Portland Cider Co. will bring their seasonal brews to Portland Holiday Brew Fest. Tasting packages range from $20 to $30, which includes up to 12 drink tickets.
ScanFair
When: Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Nordic Northwest is hosting the 40th annual ScanFair, a Scandinavian Christmas market with food, games, crafts, heritage and more. General admission tickets start at $15.
Unique World: A Holiday Pop-Up Experience
When: Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 300 N Ramsay Wy, Portland, OR 97227
This popular pop-up from Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. is now stopping in Portland. Unique World is a two-day shopping event with limited-edition items from small businesses, designers and artists.
Dundee Hills Holiday Tasting in Portland Pop-Up
When: Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8 at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Taste some of the Willamette Valley’s best wine with a visit from the Dundee Hills Winegrowers Association. Erath Winery, Sokol Blosser Winery and Knudsen Vineyards are among the brands that will pour their wines and offer pairings in Erath’s Portland tasting room.
