I’M A Celeb star Danny Jones’ wife has revealed his secret health issue that could knock him out of the Celebrity Cyclone.
With the fan-favourite challenge airing in Saturday’s installment, it remains to be seen who will take on Oti Mabuse in the semi-final after tonight’s eviction.
With Coleen Rooney, Alan Halsall, GK Barry, Reverend Richard Coles also still remaining, Danny’s up against some tough competition.
But it looks like, even if he does make it through this evening’s vote, he could be withdrawn from the trial on medical grounds.
Speaking on Lorraine today, model Georgia Horsley, 38, revealed her concerns over his knee condition.
She said: “I really hope he makes it to Cyclone. Like, he will love that. I mean, he’ll probably be a bit worried about his dodgy knee, but he will love it.”
In addition to his health worries, Danny’s wife also mentioned the strong camaraderie among the celebrities.
She added: “And also, going back to them all getting on in the camp, I’ve been here one day, and the family and friends in this hotel, goodness me, they are like best mates.”
Danny’s ailment comes from a huge knee operation he underwent in 2022.
The McFly singer sparked fan concern when he posted some gruesome images posted to Instagram following his procedure that November.
At the time, Danny told fans he had reached the next stage of his rehab following an ACL – short for anterior cruciate ligament – operation.
The ACL is a tough band of tissue joining the thigh bone to the shin at the knee joint.
If teared it requires an operation, often undergone by footballers including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which has a lengthy recovery period.
Danny filled his page with images showing the full process, including his bruising, walking on crutches and his scar finally healing.
Danny wrote in his caption: “Today was a day I’ve been waiting for ever since my #acl surgery. I finally made it through some circuit training and felt my lungs working and the sweat drippin.
“I cannot tell you how good it feels. Thank you to all the team that have helped me though this #aclrecovery sam church @fortiusclinic Colin @thelewinclinic my pt @vojine @thehogarthclub and my physio Nick Hess from @londonirish1898 THANK YOU.”
Fans were quick to share his happiness.
One wrote: “What a tough journey. So glad for all the support you had and your determination!!”

A third wrote: “Hope it means you’ll be fit and ready for summer tours.”
One then added: “Well done mate!!”
Danny is most well-known for his role in popular boyband McFly alongside Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter.
Bolton-born Danny met his wife Georgia in 2009 and the pair dated for four years, before he proposed to her in 2013 while on holiday in Cyprus.
McFly singer Danny and his wife Georgia welcomed baby boy Cooper back in 2018.
The family live in a lavish home fit with a huge garden and a home recording studio for Danny to work on music while still focusing on his fatherly duties.
